Affiliated Site Guide - Planning User Roles

"Taxonomy" can be used to setup a solid foundation based around Organizational Roles and their access.  Once established as a defined schema, Roles combinations can provide a cornerstone to reliable content management.

Affiliated Site Roles:
In addition to standard "Organization Roles", each affiliate site has a Custom Role.

Derived access for each affiliated sites is based on a combination of Organizational Roles and Custom Site roles. Users are given a combination of Roles which can build up to provide secure content management solutions that scales upwards.
 

User Role Combination Examples:
Sally Smith: site_1, resident
Sandy Smith: site_1, resident, student advisor
Bob Smith: site_2, resident
Beth Smith: site_2, resident, student advisor
Mark Smith: site_2, resident, faculty
Linda Smith: site_1, site_2, site_3, site_4, senior director
Bill Smith: site_1, site_2, site_3, site_4, site administrator
