This is a small automation project which features a telephone rotary dial for the user interface. The telephone handset connects to the speaker and microphone on Raspberry Pi. An Arduino captures off the hook conditions and rotary digits. The Raspberry (3V) and Arduino (5V) communicate using I2C passed through a voltage level shifter. Python on the Raspberry (should) read and respond to local input and remote network commands.
